Ok. I suppose the few of you who actually read this are wondering where those pictures ended up that I alluded to late last week. Well, it seems that sometime during our freakish power surges and blackouts, etc., my poor little a/c unit decided it had had enough and checked out on me. Take into consideration that I live on the second floor in a tiny room with a window facing south and you're starting to get the picture. Anyways, since the temperature in my room has been unbelievable, I've been avoiding it completely. If only I had majored in air conditioning science. So you're all just going to have to hold off a little bit longer while I work out a compromise with my a/c unit or hire a strike breaker to take it's place. Just wanted to keep you current.

"...Be what you would seem to be -- or, if you'd like it put more simply -- Never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise."

--Lewis Carrol, "Alice in Wonderland"
