Hi everyone. I wanted to address an issue that a lot of gurls online have asked me about regarding hormones. I had heard about this particular issue myself before beginning my transition, but chalked most of it up to psychological effects. Anyways, people always want to know, "Do you like boys or girls?" Now I had heard before I went on mones, other ts women saying that they had been completely hetero males before starting hormones, but once they had been on hormones for a length of time, their preferences began to change. Personally, before starting HRT, I was nearly 100% hetero and really had no attraction towards men, however, now that I've been on HRT for around 10 weeks, I've found that my preferences have also begun to shift some. So, where does that leave me now? I don't know, if I considered myself 100% hetero before I'd have to say I am closer to 60%/40% now (still in favor of girls), but that may change more as time goes on. So, is there any truth to the idea that being on hormones can change your preferences? I'd have to say yes.
